Shooting Chess Set Hand Cast In English Pewter

This stunning pewter chess set is hand cast at out studio in Worcester, England. It features characters from a traditional day out game shooting.

The pawns are represented by pheasants and partridge.
The King is a country squire with a side by side tucked under his arm and the Queen stands by his side in her shooting suiting holding her shooting stick.
The Bishop is the keeper with his trusty spaniel at his feet whilst the Knight is a beater waving his flag. The Rook is depicted with the Labrador gundog.

Each side stands on colour coded bases (Green & Brown). The diameter of the base is 26mm or 1 inch.

The Set comes either with or without a beautiful solid rosewood board.

The pieces come packaged safely in labelled mail order tubes.
